It was a scorching afternoon. My teacher announced that there would be an exam next week.
I did not care. i continued to play video games. A smug look came over me. I was sure that I could pass.
The day of the exam arrived. I realised I hit a huge wall. I tried to remember my facts, but to no avail. Panic engulfed me. I submitted a blank paper.
The results came back. I had failed. My heart sank like an anchor. Regret washed over me. I should have studied for my exam.
In the end, I learnt an important lesson. I resolved to work hard in the future.
Oof, been there, Nothing like that moment of panic when you realize you’re not as prepared as you thought. Props for turning it into a lesson, next time will be different.
Yes we all grow from our failures
I read the title 'no-frills composting' lol

Sorry to disturb your peace lol
Are you my student?

It was written for a student who had failed to write a composition even though I had given him the storyline.

Great story with a clear lesson. I like how you showed the emotions from confidence to regret — it feels very relatable.
