Bitcoin Improvement Proposals (BIPs) are the fundamental documents used to propose enhancement to the Bitcoin protocol.

From now on, the Insider will cover all new BIPs being published and new proposals getting assigned a number.

nice collection of new bip stuff. I have definitely noticed that the bip editors are upping the throughput. Lots of interesting ideas out there.

We’re pretty much caught up now. I think we’re down to PRs where it’s either unclear what is supposed to happen next or ones that are not ready yet.

I like having a dedicated update on new BIPs. Sometimes the discussions matter more than the proposals themselves.

Well, until they do not get assigned a number the bip is not really ready or isn’t helpful at all.
So I think it’s better to wait for the number before giving updates!
