New year, new website.
I’m extremely excited to finally share the rebuilt NOICE site. It’s been long overdue, and I've been quietly grinding on this for a while now. I’m genuinely stoked with how it turned out. Originally mentioned it here: #1438751
The site is fully custom-built, and the code is ours. In a time where self-sovereignty and decentralization are becoming part of everyday language, it felt important to actually live that ethos. If you don’t own your code, you don’t really own your website. Simple as that.
There are a lot of new features to explore - especially on desktop. We’ve completely restructured the submissions process and added a free PDF mini guide on editing and sequencing. It also includes some background on NOICE, how it came to be, and our perspective on what makes strong photography. It’s meant to be genuinely helpful, and it’s free.
The standard submission tier allows up to 20 images for $10 and includes the guide. There’s also a second tier where you can submit 20 images for $50 and receive a personalized, in-depth portfolio review. Many photographers have already opted into this and found it incredibly valuable, which makes us really happy - adding real value is the whole point.
NOICE has been around for nearly 11 years now, and it’s quietly become a recognizable name in the photography world. We’ve always been selective. It’s a specific way of seeing - minimal, curious, and attentive to the everyday. That focus hasn’t changed.
And yes - NOICE is now the world’s first photography publication to accept Bitcoin. Submit some of your photography now over lightning.
As always, thank you for the continued support. Feedback is welcome, and if there’s something you’d love to see added, we’re open. Think of NOICE as an open, evolving protocol for creativity and for documenting the beauty and humor of everyday life.
Stay curious.
Wow, beautiful! Bookmarked and looking forward to be back!
Try the slideshow mode!
hehe, slick feature request
Awesome, thank you!! Feedback is always welcomed
Is there a print edition? Truth is, I buy any print media if it can be paid with Lightning...
Atm, no the last issue we printed was of 500 copes. You can see a flip-through video here of it. Truly one of a kind:
