I have been negative about the idea of drivechains fir a while, but I have trouble articulating why. I think this article does a good job of framing the issues. The whole idea of trusting miners and changing bitcoin's game theory seems a nonstarter for me. Are there SN users who support drivechains?

Not really answering your question but drivechains probably has the largest delta between developers and non devs in terms of support. Literally all devs I work with have long ago discarded the idea and are working on other things.
