I am sure in the future we will be able to bet on who will actually win and who analytics says should have won.
I do think there is value in expected goals. It is informative if you are playing a whole season. If it was a 7 game series Canada probably would have won it but one game anything can happen.
Unfortunately they don't count the nerd goals.
That needs to be fixed as soon as possible. Only nerd goals and true home runs should count.
This was most definitely an expected goal and the 2nd best player in the world missed it.
