This is the type of criticism I was worried about. Can you help me understand why it’s so bad?
A mobile device should not be a full node. That is stupid and useless.
OK you can have a LN app like Phoenix or Zeus, with a light private LN wallet to make some payments when is needed.
But having all that salad of bitcoin nodes, electrum, mempool crap and whatever NOT necessary software is really stupid.
A node must stay on a desktop machine, stable, reliable, always connected.
This app overcomes the burden of spending days trying to stand up a node, now in 20minutes for 11GB you have a pruned node up running. Its a breakthrough. Travel anywhere in the world with full privacy and sovereignty in your pocket, unburdened by infrastructure.
Your initial image is actually more accurate than I first realised, diesel is a baseload power like your home node, it’s very useful. Bitcoin pocket node can unhook from it as required and it provide the nimble electric car with all the freedom you need when you want it.
