sorry, I am not so updated with mining stuff setup. I was mining in pools and solo, but long time ago and now this shit is different, not the same software, not the same hardware.
I wish I could help OP but instead of giving him outdated info I prefer to STFU in this matter.
The only thing I can say is that solo mining is the best way with a small miner. I know, most of people are excited to see sats coming from the monitor, I know that feeling, is like dopamine. But also I learned one thing: patience is key.
There are enough miners here on SN and I am surprised nobody come to help with instructions.
