We'd probably see more of this if it was easier to get small, silent, low watt, Bitcoin miners. Much harder to find a silent, ~100W, device amid all the other loads.
Especially clever would be for power thieves to add small miners to things like switched lighting circuits, so they only draw power when other loads are also drawing power.
