That's the standard response from every merchant I've asked about "accepting bitcoin." I once asked to speak with the owner of a steakhouse, and when I questioned him, he said he didn't know anything about it but would look into it more to understand, basically saying: "I don't want to hear you talk about this, but maybe I'll do my own research." That was the closest I ever got to someone accepting it; even so, I'm still aiming to convert a few this year, and it's good to remember that “All you have to do is ask.”
