The most they do (and even this is being charitable) is exchange their BTC for Fiat cards, which directly strengthens fiat's network and weakens this one.
If you don't make Bitcoin payments occasionally sometimes at least as an individual there is no excuse. Stacker News is better than ever and so easy.
It's less an issue with the Hodl culture itself. Everyone does actually have the tools to adopt a Bitcoin Standard, here and now, but many lack the balls to just do it—and it's really a very easy thing to do.
Most are tourists... and it's usually the loudest ones.

I wouldn't say people have to use it that way. A lot of daily transactions, by people actually living on a Bitcoin Standard, are very appropriately done with Lightning. That's correct and as it should be.

You don't even really need balls because it's as simple as switching from Argentine Pesos to USD (it's much simpler than that).
