As many of you who have visited Bitcoin conferences know, Xapo Bank has put a lot of money into sponsorships and being present at certain events. It's an interesting financial institution, and has many built in bitcoin features, whether it be use of lightning or bitcoin-based loans.
However, it's hard to find too many honest reviews online.
It's a legit bank based in Gibraltar with very cool functions, but it recently increased its fees to 1000 USD per year...
Unfortunately, it's not available to Americans (as of yet) so I'd presume that's why we don't see much.
For those who have a Xapo Bank account, what are your current pros and cons and suggestions for the rest of us?
Stay away from it!
You have been warned.
This is not bitcoin, is just fiat.
The only bank you should use is your OWN DAMN BTC wallet. That's it.
