I’m new to Stacker News and exploring Bitcoin and Lightning.
What type of posts or comments usually earn zaps?
Any strategy advice for someone starting with small credits?

Despite what all here will tell you and giving false hopes, I will say the truth that none want to tell you.
SN is not post to earn sats.
SN is pay to post.
If you came here with the idea of earning sats... you are wrong.

You will remember my words.
What you earn here is knowledge.

I recommend reading this: #184545

Best place to start is by commenting thoughtfully on other people's posts after reading them. Comments cost few sats and good comments can earn as much or more than a post.

It's worth noting that the people who earn sats here aren't here to earn sats. They're here to think and learn, and help others think and learn, in public. That's their secret. They're here to grow. Their motivation is not financial.

That makes sense. I guess the sats follow the signal, not the other way around.
I’m here to learn publicly and improve my thinking — if sats come with that, even better.
Appreciate the guidance .

Just start commenting. Pretty soon, you will figure out who zaps back and who doesn’t haha. (As well as everyone’s default zap)

Just go with the flow though. Chatting is fun!

You have a sending wallet attached already (verified by the gun emoji next to your nym) well done!

I zap you 200 sats for your verification of sending wallet.

Now if you attach a receiving wallet you can receive sats zapped your way directly P2P.

The attachment of receiving wallet is signified by a horse emoji next to your nym.

Perhaps tell us about your life in Malawi - it is a little known country to many here...it may earn more sats.
Is there a strong use an knowledge of Bitcoin in Malawi?
