As the piece notes, it's the same thing that Facebook and Google have done for years, but that doesn't make it ok (especially the part where TikTok is intercepting the info from the Google pixel-trackers -- there's no honor amongst thieves).

I expect most of us are immune from this because we run browsers that are secure and use basic common sense protections like uBlock, but I also expect plenty of us know folks who need to be better about their privacy.
