I have the same Snort problem you have. I do like their look and feel though. So I explore on Snort and do my updates and follows on Astral. I use Amethyst on my phone and it's pretty good.

In defense of Damus its goal is to be a Twitter clone but one must not forget it’s still social media. The dopamine hits will be even higher once people want zaps and not likes and retweets. Shoot I get a fresh hit everytime a post on stacker news gets zapped

Am trying out Nostr.  Have used the Coracle and  Damus clients.  For some reason I can’t save my profile details on Snort which is annoying.  Everyone is raving about how great it is and zapping each other sats . I sent some sats to folks but overall it still feels like Twitter in the sense that I’d be better off spending time outdoors.  My overall rating for Nostr is a shrug of the shoulders.
