I was not expecting this... @megalithic wtf! But I guess market demand drives features release and this will be useful for many.
Is kind of a contradiction to let people use scams and warn them about it... kinda "you'd like to be possibly screw?"
Use this feature at your own risk!
LOL another one bites the dust...
Wrong... Tether phat pockets full of fake money is irresistible. Is how people show their true face.

Don't you see it weird that just launch it without saying any word publicly?
That's because they are ashamed to say it out loud but on the other side they like to get the money from Tether...
Is it April 1st already?
yes, rizful is a meme now...
SN, did you learned your lesson?
Yes, it's an experiment, we have had a few users -- not sure where they are but likely in the "global south" -- Africa, Asia, etc -- who say they really need to be able to make small payments in USDT. Our idea was to try it out, and provide lots of "warnings" along the way. To be honest so far it's had very, very minimal usage. Might be something we'll abandon. Was interesting to implement and to learn about the various terrible existing solutions for stablecoins....
I didn’t see this coming.
me neither, that's a bit of disappointment. Luckily we have alternatives
How are they sending and receiving USDT? On what chain?
There are a variety of terrible solutions to choose from. Solana seems to be the least bad -- the fees are incredibly low, so at least you're not giving money to the Solana scammers when you send USDT. Similarly, USDC seems to be most terrible, so we chose USDT.
LOL you still believe that tether is on a "chain"?
ahahahahahahaha
You know what I mean
