I was thinking about where we’ll be in 25 years. By 2050, will we still be staring at candles on a screen, or will the game have completely changed?
In my opinion, Bitcoin won’t be "news" anymore. It’ll be the invisible protocol of the internet. Just like nobody asks, "Hey, what do you think about the TCP/IP protocol?" today, Bitcoin will simply be the plumbing under the floorboards of global finance.
How it integrates into daily life:
I don't expect to see "Bitcoin Accepted Here" signs everywhere in 2050. Instead, you’ll probably pay with some local digital credit or a stablecoin, but in the background, every single settlement will happen instantly over Bitcoin’s Layer 2 or Layer 3.
Machine-to-Machine: Your autonomous car will negotiate its own charging price and pay the station in Satoshis without you even waking up from your nap.
The End of Infinite Printing: Governments won’t have a choice. To stay relevant, they’ll have to peg their value to something they can't print. Bitcoin becomes the "Moral Compass" of the global economy.
My Take:
I don't think banks will vanish entirely, but Bitcoin will force them to be honest. By 2050, we won't be talking about Bitcoin’s price in USD, because USD as we know it won't be the yardstick anymore. People will measure the value of their time and their homes in Sats.
Bitcoin isn't going to "invade" our lives; its logic (scarcity and transparency) will simply become the only way to survive the financial chaos.
What do you guys think? In 2050, are we still "stacking" or has the world finally moved to a full Satoshi Standard?
