This stock is part of my Motley Fool vs Bitcoin experiment

When they selected this stock they were expecting trucking to protect purchasing power and provide great returns to investors into the future. So far it’s been meh

At 198.8k sats per share ($88,374), and pays a 1.2k sat dividend. It will take 165 years to recover the initial sat investment. A very long time!

The company trades at a PE 34 which means investors are paying $34 to access $1 of earnings. This stock is pretty expensive by historical estimates. Not something that will interest value investors.

The fundamentals of this company are very strong. The balance sheet is flawless. But the growth is weak at 8%.

At 198.8k sats and such a low dividend I am not seeing much value or growth in this stock that will make it worth dumping sats for.

While I am greatly appreciative of freight and how it makes our lives better I don’t have a strong urge to pledge my capital to help them grow/operate their business and looking at the revenues and free cash flow they dont need my sats.

This is a solid business!!

Since I been buying the stock here is my personal performance

Yup in 5 years of DCA’ing into this stock I am up 3% while bitcoin absolutely crushed it during the same time frame. But according to Simply wall st I should have crushed it

Bottom line this is a great company. You won’t get rich nor go broke with this company it’s just exists paying its dividends keeping a clean balance sheet and just doing boring but much needed work of freight.

Due to my experiment I will continue to add shares but it’s best to just stick with bitcoin and hold sats.
