I have accomplished part 1 of my plan to set up my little mining operation in an area with cheaper electric rates. I'm not going to go into detail about the exact location, but it is a tiny house in a warm, sunny climate. I hope to gradually put solar panels on the roof.

This little 3s has been cranking since it came out of the box. Check out that hash rate! My other one rarely gets above 6.42, which I consider pretty good.

That's what my wife thinks, but no, it was for many reasons. That is a big deal, though.

I'm concerned that your wife and I think alike

Nice!

That's a really cool and fun project! My 4 bitaxe gamma miners stick around 5 on average, but I've seen them hit 6.86. Would you say the 3s has a more consistent hash rate?

reply

I don't have much experience with this new one. My old 3s is very consistent - between 6.41 and 6.43.

I'm interested to see how the solar panel plan works out.

That's nice.

What kind of solar panels are you looking into?

I dream of having a small house in a cold place that has miners heating the floor 24/7! This is awesome good job

Congrats!

Very cool! Normally I’d expect a tiny house in a cold location to offset the heat, but I guess your plan is for solar, as you noted. Good stuff!
