Ugh being a buffalo sports fan is rough! Will I ever see a championship before the eternal sleep? Only god knows. Until then here are my thoughts about the game.

1. Josh Allen didn’t play his best game. I gave his game a C. It sucks because without him the bills are probably a 5 win team but the more I watch Josh the more I recognize he’s an incredible athlete that plays football and a lot of the time it can lead to trouble. The fumble before the end of the first half is unacceptable in a playoff game a play like that just can’t happen. Next at the end of the game Josh missed a wide open Dawson Knox to score the game sealing touchdown. Instead Josh misses the throw. Then the throw in overtime to Cooks. The ball is underthrown that is why the DB made a play on the ball. If we were going to make the Super Bowl we needed an A effort each game because this roster is so weak. We get a C effort and we lose.
2. As critical as I have been of the defense all season long they played well enough to win the game. They stopped the run forced a turnover and kept the Denver offense pretty much in check. The two deep balls came when our 6th string safety on the field and our 6th string CB. Even with those plays the defense kept Buffalo in the game with all the turnovers they had.
3. It’s easy to pick on the refs this game but the Bills made too many mistakes today. Josh with a C effort, Cook with that terrible fumble, Cooks not getting the catch call on the underthrown deep ball. Buffalo was the better team but the mistakes hurt them to the point they lost today.

This wraps up the 2025-2026 season for the Bills. I must say this team was flawed from the start. T

he GM didn’t address WR well enough. All of the deals, drafts, and signings haven’t panned out. Keon is a bust, Samuels and Palmer are bust signings, Hardman and Cooks coming in off the street.

Then on defense all the picks and signings didn’t make the defense any betters. Bosa ran out of gas, injuries, suspensions but besides all that if Josh the $55M quarterback hits a routine throw to the TE in the slot the Bills win.

A lot of pundits think this is the end of buffalo’s window to win it all. I disagree the NFL is so random you never know what can happen. Josh will be 30 so we have a good 3 to 5 solid years before l Father Time catches up to him. If we fix the WR get healthy on D make some good draft picks we should be in the mix next season.
