I have a billion dollar company trying to accept Bitcoin lightning subscriptions. But no-one seems to offer it WTF lol. This is not bullshit and if you can find me a solution I will literally show you the CEO DM and business. How is it 2026 and this isnt an easily solved problem with lots of information on how to set it up!?

basically theres no real equivalent to credit card subscriptions because in bitcoin money can only be pushed by the owner (signed tx) not pulled by a bank.

NWC is an ok workaround where you can show automated request for money to clients wallet every month, but its specific to apps supporting it, theres no universal solution for it.

you could possibly hack together something on the user side with having lnurl withdrawal links generated and sent to the service every month so the service would then withdraw subscriptions from your wallet, but then you need to get the users to use that wallet.

thats how its 2026 - bitcoin by design is created for intention, not consumerism :) if you make it unconfiscatable that also means nobody can pull the money out of your wallet when you'd like to :)

You are living in a fiat world trying to adapt Bitcoin to that old system.
You better adapt to Bitcoin and do not try to change it.
As aljaz said, Bitcoin is a "push system", is a feature not a bug.
The so called "bitcoin subscriptions" are a dumb idea.
I REALLY DO NOT WANT MY MONEY TO BE DRAINED. I WILL PAY ONLY WHEN I WANT TO.

ShockWallet with the CLINK protocol

The business would run a Lightning.Pub node

Enterprise services available through ShockNet

I have been impressed with user friendliness

I recommend Shock to my novice friends and myself lol

Crazy to think a consumer might want to subscribe to something, right?!

The technology exists - check out Nostr Wallet Connect

A solution that supports Nostr Wallet Connect is probably your best bet right now - perhaps try talking to @alby (@MoritzK @bumi), Breez (@Roy), MDK (@nps), or Lightspark.

You send them lightning invoice each month and they pay it. Why would you need specific technology for that?
