This was the best move for him in my opinion. The Giants are an up and coming team with young emerging star players. They hold all of their picks except for their third as well as two additional 6th round picks. Not to mention they do have some players on the defensive side they could trade to net additional picks.
Harbaugh has been able to rotate in new players and continue to win like from Flaco to Lamar plus his draft classes have been solid to great over and over again.
Its a great fit and hire. It will be important for Harbaugh to get a good OC given he is a defensive head coach but this is a great move by the Giants.
