@Undisciplined I am not sure why you are so confident in the Seahawks. Sam Darnold is their QB and they have one player on their team that has ever won more than one playoff game. Their coach is 0-2 in the playoffs.
They are a really good team but regular season results don't promise playoff returns. Seahawks are not winning the SB.
One of these suck-ass teams is going to win the Super Bowl. Why not them?
I really want to side with the 49ers in this game but Kittle being out is just too many All-Pros on the sideline.
Why not them? They have Sam Darnold as QB and their whole offensive gameplan is for him not to blow the game. Seems unlikely that wins you 3 playoff games.
I think I would take 5 other teams before them. I would definitely unquestionably take the Rams over them. McVay and Stafford will score on that defense and Darnold has thrown 6 picks against the Rams this year. I do think there is a reasonable chance the Bears beat the Rams though in a cold weather game.
Tonges and Juice will pick up the slack for Kittle. They will miss his blocking, leadership and energy for sure. But one more win and Warner might be back.
I keep forgetting that Warner might come back.
I do have more Rams shares than Seahawks and about as many Broncos, also a bunch of hedge bets.
I think the most fun outcome will be when the 49ers play the Bears in the NFCCG and completely upend the odds.
This would be the funniest year for the 49ers to lose the Super Bowl.
That would be very sad.
as a steez fan.
its has run its course.
i would bet tho, in 2-3 years of average coaching and average qb, i bet fans will wish he never left.
but you dont know if the grass is greener unless you go look.
thank tomlin for a bunch of decent years. and a few really good ones.
I won't be surprised if the Steelers get a nice draft pick for Tomlin's contract rights. Many teams can't figure out how to even get to 0.500.
Shame on the Bucs and Falcons. Of course 3 of the come from that stupid division.
Cardinals would be on that list if they weren’t the oldest team in the NFL
I’m thrown off by the history. When did football start? I know they merged the two leagues but when did AFL and NFL start to run fit over 100 years?
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/History_of_the_National_Football_League
I never would have guessed they were the oldest
Their overall success and prestige is closer to an expansion team from the 2000s
That's not fair to them. They're most like an expansion team from the 90's.
Good trivia knowledge
It was pretty close. I had to go way back into the St. Louis days to find a 20th non-losing season.
Fun fact: Every NFC South franchise is below 0.500 all-time.
And every year one of those loser teams gets a home playoff game.
I like that tho
You like bad teams who shouldn’t even be in the playoffs getting preference over good teams?
Yup. Represent the geography more. Add variance and luck
Give the Rams someone easy to whoop up on.
No way!
Yep. They're basically a win-faucet for the rest of the league.
This is impressive but I still think Tomlin is overrated
His reputation now is basically as a HC who can get any team up to 0.500, which seems fair.
At least most of these are younger franchises? (I think?)
Yep, only the Bucs go back to the 70's.
I did have to go back into the 60's before the Jets or Browns tallied enough 0.500 seasons.
Still. Yikes
