Regime change in Latin America is not a broken campaign promise because of Monroe Doctrine. Latin America is our backyard. Naive to think we are unaffected by events in Lain America.

It is in fact regime change and that's absurd to say that it isn't. Its talking out of both sides of the mouth. And some of his people have been saying this isn't regime change. Its just silly.

A more fair response to this critique is that when Trump and his crew were critical of regime change they were NOT referring to this sort of regime change.

Unaffected by events in Latin America is not something I have heard anyone say. I'm sure someone has said that but not me.

Its also silly to act like no President has done this sort of thing before. You won't catch me doing that. I don't claim him nor the state as doing anything for me or in my name so I am just an observer in this. As an observer it is interesting the bending of terms to fit into a weird shape.

I will say, I do prefer that governments just say why they are doing stuff more like this vs. what we usually have which is a bunch of moralizing that people want to hear. The US today and forever really has supported terrible dictators and governments. But when there is a desire to go to war or put their man in, suddenly the government is a moral adjudicator on the world stage.

Trump seems to be trying to do this somewhat with the drug charges but I think we all know this is just a legal strategy. The real reason is to clean up the continent from socialist that might ally with other global powers.

I'm not with the WW2 conscience people but it is funny how many of the so called right used to be with them but have conveniently and silently bent to Trump's plan. Those principled men of the conservative movement. LOL.
