If you make memes to get credit, then you are not a memer anymore. You are the meme.
You should make memes for fun not for gettng something back.
Crying that you don't get credit for a meme is lame. So your meme is not linked well with ypur name, so no need for credit.

Like a meme with SN hat. Is an image that anybody will have a link with something to remember.
