I was sitting next to a bunch of nicotine gum wrappers and a sheet of paper. I started fashioning a trash tray from the paper, then realized I could probably find instructions for an origami tray and found this.
It looks pretty sturdy in the instructions
It's pretty solid and without tape/glue. The bits that unravel are on the bottom of the inside, so once you put stuff in it's completely solid.
It did require turning a sheet of A4 into a square, but that's pretty easy too: https://www.instructables.com/Turning-A4-Paper-Into-a-Square/
