Here’s where being a parent came in handy. I scanned through the first three Stellar Readers for words ending with the -y suffix and instantly got him to read the words after me. Brownie points for me including science-related words — reptiles have scaly skin and aren’t the cacti we see at his school garden thorny?

Teaching my son and students concurrently — my life has been aligned like no other.
