I noticed this too. Since October last year they are not paying regularly, some days and a little bit. But yet is the better option for podcast player.
ill still use it anyway as it does the job for podcasts and support the guys who built it, but yeah, it's a hard business model

Been that way for months, I guess they only kick back some free sats when they have a specific sponsor for it...?
for that long alrady ? damn, im so used to using it I rarely check, i still remember some of the giddy highs of making a few hundred sats every now and then from listening to a podcast
I knoooow, loved that shit. Obvs not sustainable to pay your listeners for their attention, lolz. But nice marketing/overcoming switching costs
It’s a legit way to keep people listening, but unsustainable if users don’t pay back. I think the benefits system is broken, I don't know the solution. Paying users to keep them engaged with sponsors seems fair, but the producers and Fountain need to build this better.
