Over time I have just come to realize more and more everything I was told growing up about the Church and what they believed is not accurate at all. In some ways I've come to realize its a deterrent to keep others from finding salvation. Also come to realize not everyone is gifted to find the real answers in this life, while also being blessed with finding them through faith. So you kind of just have to let it be, and be mindful of your words.

Very wise.

There is a type of Christian who isn't really able to answer scientific objections and isn't really interested in learning how either. I think that's fine, everyone is different. No one should look down on them for having a simple faith. That being said, I think it would be helpful if they learned how not to display a fear of science, either.
