Marbury was one of my favorite players before I understood anything about winning basketball.

I actually thought the Jason Kidd for Marbury trade was pretty reasonable.

Yeah I was a Starbury fan myself. I always thought Jason Kidd couldn’t shoot and Marbury would do well with the Suns.

My favorite player was Grant Hill and I was very slow to acknowledge Kidd's greatness because I didn't think he deserved to be co-ROY with Hill.
