At the same time, the share of cargoes without a declared final destination is growing, with ships extending routes, using intermediate ports, or waiting to unload.

In practice, less oil "appears" in the official data, but a good portion remains in transit, indicating logistical adjustments and not necessarily a structural drop in supply.
