Welp I thought that this is where Bregman was going to sign..... I would guess now its either going to be Boston or the Tigers/Mets. His market is rapidly shrinking.....

Likely means Bichette isn't coming back. Barger will move to the OF, Clement to 2B and Giminez to SS. Not really room for Bichette anymore unless they trade one of Clement, Santander, or Barger.

Tucker can probably still make some sense because this is Springer's last season but it would create a log jam in the OF. Would have to trade Clement or use him as a super utility guy and have him back up 2B, SS and 3B.

Do you think they would give Tucker the price he wants? I mean even if they give him an opt out I would assume that it wouldnt be till after the 2027 season (so that he can have a year replacing Springer) and so hes going to want a stupid high AAV of $45 mil plus

i am not sure. I do think they really want a LH bat to pair with Guerrero long term but maybe they think Barger can develop into that guy or Santander will bounce back after missing almost all of last year with injuries. They also need to make a decision on Varsho after this season. I could seem them trading Varsho but then who is going to play CF.
