Yesterday I read all the resources you gave me, and I restarted EGS as you recommended. For a moment, the "Zeus does not respond" message stopped appearing, and I was able to make some small test payments. I also received some sats back while testing the wallet. However, today when I opened the wallet, the "Zeus does not respond" message reappeared. Of all the recommendations you gave me, the only thing I didn't do was compact the
data.
I see that option appears in two different places, and I was wondering if they're the same option? In other words, could I compact the data from both places as you recommended in one of the messages to my post, or are these options I see here completely different?
