*Fiat is an experimental kind of currency that is (weirdly) printed by each individual country, and people took somewhat seriously between roughly 1600 AD and 2009 AD. It tends to gradually lose value over time. You could show Fiat in Euros if you wanted, instead of dollars, with this switch.*
Their whole guide on the lightning network is full of little tangents and gems like this — very much worth reading if you're interested in lightning (which you should be).
I've been self-educating on the Lightning Network for about eight wees now: the Megalith guides have been the second-most helpful resource for me, right behind you-already-know-who's.
These Rizful docs are so good. It's a pleasure to read stuff the writer obviously cared about, and where the personality comes through.
There's some other really phenomenal btc / LN documentation I encountered once but I forgot what it is. I remember remarking on it and @k00b making a comment, so maybe he recalls?

Use something like lnproxy to add more hops to your payment; it gives better privacy.
Well, lnproxy is a good way to mask the final destination of your paymemts from a custodian. Rizful is not a custodial wallet, they don't see the invoices. Your private node creates the route, Megalith just forwards the payments. They do see the amounts in/out of your wallet, but not sources and destinations.
Yes, because all payments route via their nodes. But all they can identify you with is an IP address. Just hide it behind a VPN.
This is wrong, countries and governments simply respond to We The People requests, because govt are at our service, not the other way around.
Money is created each time individuals and person ask for credit. Each time one of us sign a loan, each time we use a credit card, each time we ask for a credit line of any type, WE are the one creating debt and consequently what we refer as money.
Let's stop blaming someone else, stop creating debt and start being responsible for our actions.
It is funny but I like direct confrontation "unbacked paper money". And by the way, China experimented with this a bit earlier.
