Yeah that is true he has looked like the 1, but they wouldn’t have spent the 4th overall pick on MHJ if they weren’t going to ride with him. In college he looked really good, he still adapting. I may be a little bias since I rlly like Marv, but I don’t feel like Wilson will be or is the WR1 for this team. Marv still adapting and hasn’t had good enough qb play. A lot of his target are either far past him or short of him. But yes Wilson is a dog and will be a good WR for the cardinals going forward.
Unless marv returns to his college form he isn’t an NFL WR1.

if im the giants gm, im doing this 100% (going from pick 2 back to pick 5). you’ll get 2 years (and most likely a third if they pick the 5th year) for MHJ. you’ll have a good young offense. and you can still go get one of the best players in the draft.
the cardinals should not do the trade tho. they need to have weapons for their future qb. trading away MHJ will just leave McBride and Wilson (who isn’t a true WR1). go draft jeremiyah love to replace conner. i’d roll with jacoby brissett since he has been a serviceable qb this year then go draft your qb next year. trade murray after june 1st for whatever you can get to free up cap space after 2027. starting 2028 you’ll have a qb 1 year into a cheap deal, pay MHJ and fill in the rest of the roster holes to strengthen the team.
