If you have any questions about what the seminars are like, ask away!
I did the Lightning one the last cohort and loved it and I'll likely be doing the Bitcoin one in September.
Hi @k00b, I have applied and been selected for the bitcoin one. What do you recommend to be successful in the seminar, by successful I mean to have the information/knowledge to develop Bitcoin based applications/contributing to core [or begin poking at core] by the end of the 5 weeks. How Can I be successful here?

Awesome! I'm doing the Bitcoin one too. Looking forward to meeting you!
I recommend spending a solid 1-2 days/week (or more) studying and to not be afraid to ask others questions when you have them. You really get what you put in with these, so the more you put in the more successful you'll be.
Learning is personal, but I tend to retain more information if I take notes while I go over the material and revisit them once shortly after (a couple hours) then again a couple days later to compress the notes (something I learned in this book How to Become a Straight-A Student). I also would do my best to answer all the discussion questions alone before the group sessions so that I knew where my knowledge gaps were and so I could ask others.
Caralie also recommends in the intro email she just sent out to begin reading Mastering Bitcoin. It's open source if you don't want to buy a copy. The copy I have doesn't have segwit in it so I might begin rereading the open source version myself.

Did you do the online version? Or in-person? I applied for the online lightning seminar
