I’m mostly using FOSS software. If there is an alternative to the closed source, ad and tracker loaded piece of shit software out there. By the way, most users cry about new features etc, but don’t even use 20% of all the features a software provides. If the FOSS application I am using is secure and private enough, I’ll use it. Most open source projects are difficult to maintain and they very much rely on our donations or their willingness to help people who want to get away from Big Tech’s hold. I will tolerate a few inconveniences for what I am getting in return.
