My lightning network channel to Kraken is starting to gain traction, and I'm starting to see the rewards for my efforts. With each transaction, I'm earning Satoshis in fees, slowly but surely. I'm excited to see what the future holds for this channel, and I'm hopeful that I can continue to increase my earnings over time. As more people use my channel to send payments to Kraken, I'm sure the fees I earn will continue to grow. I'm looking forward to seeing the results of my hard work, and I'm sure I'll be able to reap the rewards of my lightning network channel in the near future.
Two Questions:
  1. Are you having to re-balance the channel or is there enough volume going in and out from Kraken?
  2. Are you publicly sharing your node name? Would be interesting to look at it on amboss.

awesome to hear. would love to see any stats/timeline of events you’re willing to share… might be helpful for other prospective node operators to get an idea of the time/effort/reward tradeoffs

Do you have any more written on this? I am about to setup an Umbrel node and planned to experiment with LND, I'd love to read more about your setup process.

How did you manage to get a channel with Kraken?
reply
I am reading a lot of questions in this thread and i will start to give more detailed explanations soon. I used https://lightningnetwork.plus/ for opening up channels and find the most active channels using https://lightningnetwork.plus/nodes, there you can find the channel for Kraken and the like
