Any condensation experts out there?
This is the situation I want to solve.
I live in a very poorly insulated apartment. It's winter now, and I have a dog who sleeps in his bed. Every morning, there's a large accumulation of moisture under his bed, even a thin layer of water on the floor, which is wooden and already has a large stain.
I've tried putting the bed on some plastic sheeting about 3 cm high with lots of holes for ventilation. But the dampness on the floor keeps appearing in the mornings. My next idea is to use a sheet of cork under the dog's bed.
Any advice?
put a heating pad wherever the moisture accumulates
Get a hunk of insulation (the thick foam stuff from the hardware store), cut a piece and put it under the dog bed. Or better would be something that gives you some air beneath it. Like the boards that are under an Ikea mattress.
A dehumidifiers will make magic for you
Yes, that sounds great
