Does Web5 mean they are a direct Nostr competitor?

Could there be a way to use elements of Web5 & Nostr together?

Could the combination of internet and identity protocols yield a result that’s greater than the results of a single protocol?

I don’t know the answer, but I’m glad they’re giving it a shot.
