There used to a lot of commentary in the Bitcoin communities, libertarian communities about decentralized economies and cities / towns, based on hard money. I've seen specific projects aim to set up such communities and they always go quiet after some time.
In a real shit-hits-the-fan scenario, how possible / likely do you think it is that someone will actually pull of establishing such a community / town / city? If you look at hyper-inflation events around the world, things get hectic, dangerous, people generally trying to eat and survive?
Is there any writing on how such a transition may occur to decentralized living? I mean one that doesn't gloss over realities of violence / state ?
