I see that. It's kind of like a jukebox now. We're all at the mercy of the biggest spenders. We have to beat em or join em.

Or maybe we'll be forced to figure out a fair way to rank territories too.

Not to throw any shade at ~Stacker_Sports, which is *totally "legitimate"* and only *slightly fiat* thing to talk about, but I was shilling Stacker News to a friend today and telling him, "oh yeah, it's full of cypherpunk and econ and tech discussion", only for him to check it out and seeing a bunch of sports talk on the front page.

I'm already noticing myself zapping more to control ranking more. I can't use myself as a guinea pig, but I wasn't expecting that. Still, I suspect most of us long haulers got used to relying on our trust to influence ranking.
