en Google Translate doesn't work at the moment because to translate content it has to modify text. Our new editor doesn't allow text modifications, it reverts any edit to the content you're reading right now.
You can temporarily "fix" this by adding ?html=true at the end of the URL. This will force rendering via HTML, which lacks custom features such as popovers on mentions.
A permanent fix is doable, but I don't know yet how much it'll take. Thanks, and sorry for the inconvenience :(
