Regulations are not the fix.
On one hand it is probably better for the birds but on the flipside birds become less accessible as pets and pet stores have fewer live animals they are permitted to sell. It would be nice if stores and breeders offered more transparency into where the animals are coming from.
They allow only goats and sheeps now :)

Birds in cages are a sadness thing. Ever I see this I think “why ppl still capture birds to put them in cages?”
