Apparently Charlie Kirk and Tucker Carlson were the only ones who went to the White House last time and argued strongly against the previous attack, which was why it was fairly limited.
I've heard this argument made before, but never seen it laid out in detail, e.g., what is the source of this power that people claim Israel has over the US. Is there a canonical one that you'd recommend?
I haven't read this, but I've listened to John Mearsheimer speak and he seems fairly level headed? He wrote a book called The Israel Lobby and US Foreign Policy
Come to think of it, maybe this will be my next audiobook.
It's an important topic, and hard to get signal on vs. noise. There is a lot of genuine antisemitism out there, but also genuine Islamophobia. On the other hand, there is a lot of legitimate critique of Israel / Zionism, as well as a lot of legitimate critique about the Palestinian movements and Islamism more generally.
I'm also very curious about how this state of affairs came to be. The current Trump presidency has removed any doubt I had that this is the current state of affairs, though.
I doubt something like that exists. Objectively there is probably a ton of evidence supporting both sides of the argument. It is a slippery slope. Anti - Zionism deep dives often lead to what really seems like antisemitic conspiracy theories.

And now Charlie Kirk has been assassinated.
Try following Village crazy lady on x.com (https://x.com/Villgecrazylady/). She's insanely prolific on this topic.
Are you going to make another Kirk post soon? I've been catching up on the developments with Liberty Lockdown and it's pretty wild.
"Lobby" means "order" in this case.

Seems about par for the course. Dunno if we can realistically free of the tangle for anything at all important.
