Today I want to share the second part of this outdoor photography session I did for a young man. While the previous photos were for his birthday, the reason for these is different: in Venezuela, there is a tradition of "estrenar" clothes in December. Basically, it means wearing brand new clothes that you have never worn before on December 24th and 31st.

As you might have guessed, the two outfits you see in this set of photographs are the clothes this guy will wear as his "brand new clothes" for those two special days in December.

I’m not sure if this is a tradition in other countries, but at least here in Venezuela, it is something sacred, especially for the children of the houses.

Within this tradition, there are even some unwritten rules. For example:
December 24th: You wear nice, new clothes, but they are usually more casual.
December 31st: You wear something more "elevated" or even formal to welcome the New Year in the best possible attire.
Next oufit change:

As you can see in the photos, we explored different areas of the location to have variety in the photographs. The guy didn't have much experience with photography sessions, so I guided him through all the poses.

I took all the photos with my Canon R8 camera, a 50mm 1.8/f lens and a 50cm flash with a diffuser.
At the end of the session, both the guy and I were super happy with the results. I hope you like them as much as we did!
