I found it all too relatable when I finally did -- the battered laptop, the adventures with your father. Read the full post here. I have tried such weekly territory reports before, and had a hard time committing. Some great posts in the territory as of late have motivated this, so ....Here goes again!

thanks for your report! You know, it is useful to hear your voice announce the items that collect here. It's useful, as the writer, to know that these items don't exist in a void, but that a creature beyond is making an opinion about them. . .

I realize, getting some feedback from, or at least acknowledgement for something I posted here is often the greatest reward for having posted, sats aside. That being said, maintaining a territory well is hard work. Kudos to those who do such a great job at it, their names need not be mentioned.

Great job. I feel like it really helps to build a community. When I have a disappointing week, it's sometimes a struggle to get motivated to put something out. Putting in the effort almost always makes me feel better, because I will find a post I didn't notice that deserves attention, regardless of whether it got sats or replies.
