Disney Animation’s “Zootopia 2” is set to cross the billion-dollar box-office mark on Friday, becoming the second Hollywood film to reach the benchmark in 2025.
The film has overperformed in China, a region that has restricted theatrical releases from the U.S. in recent years.
The film’s billion-dollar haul highlights a transition in the domestic theatrical marketplace as PG-rated family films have begun to outpace ticket sales of PG-13 and R-rated films at the box office.

Unfortunately, I'm yet to watch it. It's only been released in the metropolitans and I'm about 150 miles away from one. You can tell me if it's better than Zootopia 1. I'm a huge fan of the first part.

My kids really liked it. My wife took them. I had some work to do for my contract job so I didn't go.

It was my pick to be highest grossing movie of the year but I sold my shares because unfortunately it will not catch Minecraft even with the Christmas holidays.

Great! I watched the first part for the first time along with my niece who was then only 2.5 years old. She liked it so much that I had to play it on TV for her for maybe more than 20 times. Her favourite was the sloth scene.

Maybe this time too I'll watch this part with her again, though she's now 8 years old and may not ask it to play again and again, haha.

With Avatar 3 coming up next week, it's gotten highly unlikely now that it will add up 200 million more to catch up with Minecraft. Looks like Minecraft is well ahead to be the top grosser for 2025.

Arijit is much more lookalike for sloths.

Yes because we buy shares for a prediction on Predyx. It's a general term among us. But it's not direct funding at all. It's only that we now have a prediction market running with lightning network where we predict and can create a lot of events including this one.

Shares in an outcome. Not in the actual project. If you haven't tried predyx you should give it a shot. Sats denominated and because of that you can make micro bets. You can put 10 sats on an outcome if you want.

Doesn’t seem like my kind of thing, but it’s been interesting seeing how accurate this whole phenomenon has been so far. I may have to check it out at some point.

Wife and kids liked it, I didn't go... they'll make me watch it when it streams.

Wife said it was funny and I'd enjoy the comms, story involves an elite family that runs things behind the scenes.

I didn't care for the first too much but it was bearable.

I felt like they laid the wokeism on a bit heavily. I did enjoy the character design and animation in both, pretty creatively done and quite humorous.

Thanks. Yes it must be someone governing the Snke. I've only heard that involves a snake at the epicenter of negative sides. Maybe I'll also have to watch it when it streams.
