I recall that China was going through pretty significant price deflation recently. Central banks usually try to avoid that.

Is there a real deflation anywhere other than the housing bubble burst (and maybe some stocks)?
I mean gas, electricity, groceries etc.?

Good question. I don't know. All I'm going on are baseline numbers from a very unreliable government.
