There are not many people at all that are able to head up two companies that are publicly traded. I am surprised to see that Musk confirmed this and I guess after his win in his Tesla pay plan he feels that he is able to have SpaceX go public.

Not sure I would tap into shares though given not only the crazy price and evaluation numbers but also because the company is gearing up to start dealing in the space data center area which is completely unproven.
