i am working on a book review about PANDAS as part of my Parasite Wars series (see bio); this disease apparently affects 1 in 200 kids, but i think it's much worse than that and not only kids;

The hardest working man in Bitcoin, @Car, asked for some help with a kiosk for the PlebCafe
Uses CLINK Offers so the Lab can take sats for the snack area with a static web page that fetches invoices over Nostr, menu and offer is just a json file
Realized we never implemented purely nostr-based callbacks in Lightning.Pub... we were focused on web-hooks... so addressing that real quick... derp. Fortunately CLINK Spec and SDK already handles it.

I have also built the MCP server to use with it.
Idea : grow the site, fund some relays. (i.e encourage mass adoption leading to more transfer of Fiat to Sats).
This benefits employers, job hunters, Nostr relay operators, and defunds shitty recruitment sites and web scraping companies as there will be no need to scrape siloed data.
I don't want to piss off any good relays so any advice on fair relay usage is welcome, as is any know how on how to drive adoption. The goal is to drive mass adoption of the idea, and Nostr rather than just make tons of Fiat.

  • Mainly dealing with offering my book and the Bitcoin Wall Calendar to prospective resellers. Dropped off 5 books to a parcel machine yesterday, which will, at least to my knowledge, be the first copies of this particular book to be available at a physical bookstore. Pretty cool. It is a consignment deal though so unless they actually sell I won't get paid :) One of the larger Estonian bookstore chains actually made a request for 100 copies (!), but: also a consignment deal and if they don't sell in 3 months, they'll start charging me a warehouse fee. Now I have no idea how likely it is to sell 100+ copies of any book in Estonia, not to mention a book about Stoicism, in English. I'm also not sure whether they think it is possible to sell 100 copies or if ordering a large amount of books from naive unknown authors and then charge them for warehousing is a part of their business model or not. At least I know another Estonian bitcoiner who's sold his books through large chains so I'll message him for advice. Now if this deal does go through, that would be pretty darn awesome not only because of getting exposure on the bookshelves, but also because they might be able to accommodate a book presentation - but I'll have to double check on this as well. Earlier today I made a stupid mistake though - I was sending out emails to Bitcoin based bookstores and Stoic bookstores (only found 2!). One of the Stoic ones was Ryan Holiday's The Painted Porch bookshop. Unfortunately, I left a portion of the "Bitcoiner" approach to the intro to my book in, so in one section, out of the blue, Bitcoin comes in, in a big way: "It is a philosophical book, first and foremost, but the longest chapter in it ("On Economics & Entrepreneurship") goes deep into Bitcoin and its intersection with philosophy. I believe it would be an interesting read for your audience. Think Marcus Aurelius meets Saifedean Ammous & Jeff Booth type of thing..." Now I'm cringing as I type this because I won't expect Mr Holiday to be a bitcoiner, so he's probably like "What does Bitcoin have to do with Stoicism and who the hell are Ammous and Booth???" I would have preferred that he got there by going through the book and getting to know my thought process first, but oh well... besides, maybe he is a bitcoiner (or a precoiner) and has been waiting (unknowingly) for someone to make that connection for ages??
  • Related to last point I also did something for the first time in my life and am actually really happy about how they turned out: product sheets for the book and the calendar
  • Also related to the first point, writing an essay about the parallels between Stoicism and Bitcoin (I read most of the current draft out aloud in the Bitcoin Art Podcast Ep 8 last Sunday)

  • A bunch of small changes and things to do on both Satoshee and Kontext Store
  • If I have time, then I also want to post one of my older essays and/or the first chapter of A Stoic Resurrection audiobook as a podcast episode
